- Skin varies in thickness from a twelfth to a fifth of an inch. What this means is that certain products are intended to be used on certain parts of our body. ie. Don't use face or body cream around the eyes and vice versa.
- Things that adversely affect your skin include: excess of heat and cold, pollutants (free-radical damage), UVA and UVB sun damage, and smoking and intrinsic aging. There is more to skin care than just putting on some cream. You need to look at the big picture. Don' think just because you wear sunblock you are protecting your self from other factors. Even things like stress, lack of sleep, and diet can cause skin damage.
- We receive more than 80% of damage from the sun be fore the age of 18. Start them young. Wear sunblock, wear sunblock, wear sunblock, we cannot stress this enough. If you start you kids young they will get in the habit and will be protected later in life.
